Business: production and marketing of Regent-Stretch film The Regent-Stretch film brand was launched in 2001 and allowed Regent Group to move into the transport packaging market. Following its policy of expanding production, in 2003 Regent installed a new production line with a capacity of 11,000 tons of film per year in addition to its equipment from Bielloni Castello, Italy. The new line is from SMS-Folientechnik, Austria, a major machine builder, and not only allows more to be produced, but also to start manufacturing a technologically new product, a 5-layer stretch-film that gives the consumer the chance to cut their packaging costs by 15% . Regent-Stretch film is made exclusively of top-grade raw materials : linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) supplied by the world's leading makers. Strategic partnerships with such giants as Dow Chemical allow the company to make film that fully corresponds to the quality level of the best European producers, as proved by laboratory tests carried out by ÎÀÎ Ì IPP-NPO-Plastics. The fact that among the regular buyers of the film are such international and Russian giants as PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Baltika, Procter & Gamble, etc. speaks volumes for the quality of the product.
